I've blogged about wood pallets a couple times...people have come up with most creative uses to recycle this product that seems to be tossed to the side so often. Check out this use...a rack for the mud room! It wouldn't take much to give it a fresh coat of paint and hang some hook from it to create a perfect entryway piece!

I saw this pic and loved how they painted the rod! What a great idea to take an old tired rod and spindals and jack them up with a little paint! Looks like this is another project I have added to my list!

Creating lasting memories is all about having family and friends around, but I also think having a unique comfortable setting during the holidays makes memories stick!
creating custom ornaments will make your tree stand out and give it a unique stance this holiday season!
not only did I make my own ornaments, I added some pine cones, lettering, and bells I spray painted white
Boy and I picked up our tree yesterday...better late then never!

Updating a space can be as little as replacing a rug...check out this hand painted personalized rug I created for a client! I love how it becomes a custom piece by addign a bit of paint.
The custom monogram adds detail and takes a plain jute rug to another level!

Hey Notebook Readers! Hope everyone is having a good week!
I have been planning a fundraiser at my Mom's store and not only did it remind me that I need to get some gifts, but it also reminded me that giving back is #1! My Mom is awesome enough to donate a % of her sales during our holiday shopping evening to Christ Child Society!
Check out some of her amazing products at Mostly Monograms!!! There are some great gift ideas!
If you live in the D.C. area stop by her shop sometime!

Hey Notebook readers! Hope everyone is getting geared up for the weekend like I am! This morning I'm happy to share a quick furniture rehab I completed yesterday. Some of you may recognize this lovely side tables with rattan accented legs. A client asked me to paint them a bright white to clean them up a bit...check out the before and afters!
Hope my client loves them as much as I do!
Accessorizing these bad girls would be so fun too. Side tables that have a lower shelf give you an opportunity to display books, objects...so many options! Let your creative juices fly! Just remember less is always more!
and if you have to much "stuff" or shall I say junk(you know we all have it) use a basket to cover the clutter right up!

I have been seeing more and more darker colors filtering in...I love it! It makes a great contrast to a clean white
whether the crisp white comes from an anchored chair rail or a painted ceiling! Go bold people!

Happy Monday Notebook Readers! I am ecstatic to share my weekend details!
From putting the finishing touches on a side table for one of my besties nursery to meeting my best friends twin baby girls!
Love how this table turned out! Before it was a dark wood stain and after it is a crisp white with light pink accent drawers!
I'm in love with my best friend in the whole wide world, Claire, had twin girls Friday evening, Maggie and Raegan are as incredible as their mother!
And I did a bit of work sanding down and prepping these two small benches for a client!
Weekends have been flying by! But it was an exciting one!
Have a good start to your week!
AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY SISTER CAITLIN!!! LOVE YOU!!!
