I was hired by a client to paint a bertoia chair...and its not your typical bertoia...look how adorable this children's chair is! Love it! I am going to add a small throw pillow as a gift to the client to match the child's room decor!

Transforming to Treasure!
Check out this chair I was asked by a client to rehab. I love the bones of this dining set...a little paint and fabric gave them a new life!
some of the seats were torn through so I created seat bottoms with the help from my boys Dad!
as you can see we cut out the curved base of the seat out of plywood and then added some foam using spray adhesive
after wrapping the new foam seat with or fabric we then added it to the chair by screwing it into the original frame
love the new chair! what a difference a little paint and fabric make!!!
Happy DIYING!!!

Hide your gun...no your remote!
Hiding clutter in my living room is a constant battle...not only do we have multiple remotes but now the ipad, the WiFi device...its can be endless. Well here is simple and easy solution to store and hide all the clutter.

Simply take an old book, cover it with some decorative paper, and score the inside multiple times to cut out the inside for storage! One clutter issue solved!

Paint the inside!
I just had this debate the other day...to paint the interior or not to? I like the natural wood to come through but I just found this image and I love the POP of color!

Baby Crab!
I have been working on a couple aspects of my girlfriend, Meg and her husband's, nursery for their little boy who will be arriving soon. Some of you may have seen the progress of the dresser turned changing table in past posts. But here is the final product!
(don't mind the knick on the right hand side...that was fixed after I slammed a cornhole set into it)
I found these crabs pulls on Amazon for $2.98!
I decided to line the drawers with this adorable blue geo print liner! All it took was a little spray adhesive to apply it to the drawers!
Here is the fabric I used to make their window panels...more picture of the final curtains to come!
