Texture and Patterns at Play
These pictures are from Rebecca Robertson's apartment in NYC. She is the decortaing editor at Martha...to die for job! I can't get over the graphic chair rail she added...what a fastastic way to add depth and texture to any room!

So I saw this idea on Danielle's blog and I love love love the idea! She found these deer heads at her local art store for $8. After cutting them, painting them white, she then mounted them onto fabric covered plagues. This idea is thrifty and fun and will add a pop to any wall in your home!

Frame + Foto of the Day
Gearing up for Christmas season I thought the frame and photo of the day would be appropriate...the frame is a white and red stripped hand painted piece found on Etsy which will match perfectly with this amazing fioto of the day.
Here is Christmas Eve at my parents house! Every year we all gather for a night of santa, gifts, and now drinks...Featured in the foto of the day is my best friend Claire, my two sisters Molly and Cailtin, our best friends Therese and Emily, Catherine, and our good family friend Steuart Martens(you may recognize him from this years Apprentice) Tis the Season! Can't wait for the 24th!
It's that time of the year
Just a couple ideas for this seasons gift giving! I love the hole punched paper ribbon..super easy! Or placing your goods in a paint can makes it different and fun(they sell them at Container Store) or try adding a sprig of pine or candy cane stick to top off any wrapped gift!

I found this dining room on BHG and I think it is spectacular. The decorations are easy DIY projects that will fill your dining room during the holiday season with warmth and love! My favorite is the candy cane based flower arrangment...just glue gun the candy canes around a circular vase and it is ready to be a highlight of your dining room table!
