Hey Notebook Readers! Hope everyone had a great weekend! I spent the weekend relaxing with friends, BBQing, and working. The weather in Washington has been amazing...well for August it has and if you have ever lived in DC for a summer you know a day without humidity goes a long way!
So I got out there are got my spray gun raring to go! Well until I realized there was a hole in the hose. Check out the prep pics! More after pictures to come this afternoon...
this buffet is from IKEA and is going to be painted a very light blue called blue bay marina by Benjamin Moore
as you can see the top is taped off because we are going to leave it the natural wood tone of the original piece
break down occurred :( no painting for me BUT here is a tip...I like to keep the inside of IKEA drawers their original finish because, as we all know, is not the best made furniture and the materials used to make the inside of the drawers does not allows corporate with paint.
So by simply taping around the backside of the drawer front you can keep the insides looking fresh and get a perfect finish on the front of the drawer!
