Call me the IKEA Hacker!
I love this furniture upcycle! They are old IKEA three drawer dressers...that I totally forgot to take an original picture of them from the front...but these ladies looked a bit like this
with a bit more detail like double pulls
My client want a fresh clean look for her daughter bedroom...so after filling in one of the pull holes with wood puty they got prime and painted with a high gloss white
and bright new hardware...love these gold pulls!

Round About!
I love being asked by a client to paint a unique piece of furniture that has meaning behind it. My client dropped off this round coffee table that she explained had a lot of memories attached to it. It came from her grandmother's house where she would visit as a little girl and play climbing into the center of the table.
Now her son is turning two and she has asked me to paint it for his playroom! I'm so excited to see what color they end up choosing for this piece...I'm thinking a bold pop of color like a green or orange!

Gold to Bronze!
A client has asked me to transform a gold sconce to match the oil rubbed bronze accessories she has already had installed in her new guest bathroom.
the sconces are simple and elegant which I absolutely love
Taking pictures of the existing hardware helps match the paint color
I love using the Rustoleum metallic collection for projects! This will bring that oil rubbed bronze look my client is looking for!

Draw Removal
Happy Monday Notebook readers! Hope everyone is recovering from a late night watchign football! I know a lot of Marylanders are happy this morning with the Ravens victory!
I saw this photo this morning and had to blog it...it defines upcycling and gives a homeowner the chance to repurpose an item that may be broken.
By removing the lower drawer this side table was then lined with a fun paper or you could paint it a pop of color too...it opens up the space and allows for a storage basket or as featured books!
