Touch of Gray & Detail!

Good morning people!

 

Hope everyone had a great start to their week! Unfortunately here in Washington we(the Cap fans) had a rough night getting scored on by the Rangers, but we will recover!

 

I kept busy yesterday afternoon gardening and adding last touches to an entertainment center piece. Check it out!

 

 

 

Boy and I have a little backyard and every spring it feels great to add a couple plants and a fresh layer of top soil! Can't wait to sit outside and enjoy my labor this week! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

love the gray but it needed a little something more

 

 

 

by placing painters tape around the edges I used a brush to add white acrylic paint to the trim

 

 

I suggest adding the tape because free handing trim can be difficult

 

 

 

love how it adds a slight detail to an otherwise plain piece! Another way you could change it up would be replace the hardware. This client wanted to keep the original but maybe adding a nice glass knob would give it that extra touch too!
