All you fabric Fanatics

Having a lot of fabric can create a bit of a mess. I absolutely love this idea I found while searching my new Pinterest account. I swear that website is changing the world as we know it. Anyways this is so simple and a great way to stay organized! They used comic book covers to wrap their fabric in a neat fashion. It got me to thinking you could use cardboard from the dry cleaners too!

Chevron in or out

Trust me Notebook readers I love me some chevron print, but I have a feeling we are seeing it being overused? yes...no?

A client recently wanted me to paint an accent wall in her nursery...after researching some inspiration pics my feelings of it being the "in" thing were confirmed...but is it being overused. My fear is yes.

Here are some images I found...all wonderful but is it the right move for a room being designed for the next couple years

I featured this chair last week and I'm happy to share the results. This chair wasn't lacking any charm. I absolutely love the details on the wood but it need a major face lift when it came to the fabric. My client purchased Serena & Lilly fabric and after a little TLC it has new life!

Lay it down right

A client hired me to custom an inexpensive jute bordered rug for her front entryway. The project was a bit time consuming but well worth it once we get this bad girl installed. Check it out!

measured out the spacing for the monogram

use a washable marker to create the lettering

applied ultra black acyclic paint

definitely needed to go back and touch up with a second coat

DIY ALERT!

Pinned Image

Saw this on Pinterest and thought what an easy DIY project! You could incorporate this frame into a gallery wall to mix it up a bit.

1. Old frame
2. Remove glass and backing
3. Staple gun twine across the frame
4. Hang clothes pins with pictures
5. Find a killer spot in your home to hang it

I'm going to use this one definitely and prob paint the frame green or orange...these colors are in my head...St. Paddy's day count down!!!
